About Ultimate Adventures in Kununurra
Experience the thrill of the catch - wild barramundi! Escape to Australias tropical outback where one of the finest river systems is home to large saltwater and freshwater crocodiles, tropical wildlife and loads of birdlife while coexisting with the famous sportfish, wild barramundi. A soft adventure holiday awaits those keen on nature and getting away from it all. Visitors can enjoy a fully guided barramundi fishing trip with experienced guides willing to share their knowledgeable bush skills and fishing tips. Stay at the camp and be hosted by Greg and Jane Harman who first established the Ultimate Adventures operation in June 1988. The camp is bush style with kitchen shelter for open air dining, screened rooms where you can still appreciate the Kimberley star studded night skies plus separate ablution block - all with river views. Safaris depart daily from Kununurra. Transfers can be arranged from your accommodation or the Kununurra Airport.
The Ord Escape is a 2 or more day barramundi fishing safari and is all-inclusive. You only need to bring personal items and alcoholic drinks. The Ord Experience full day barramundi fishing safari includes 8 hours guided fishing, lunch, snacks, fruit and cool drink. Short on time? The Ord Venture half day barra fishing tour offers you the opportunity to hook a barramundi on a 4 hour small boat fishing tour. Or there is the Ord Discovery - a 2 hour small boat river scenic tour. Want to go bush for the night? You can on an all-inclusive Ord Adventure one night plus full or half day barramundi fishing safari.
Fishing gear is provided for all tours and safaris plus courtesy transfers ex Kununurra. You are welcome to bring your own preferred fishing gear. You will need a shady hat, camera, sunblock, insect repellent and protective outdoor clothing & footwear. Self contained travellers can stay in our campgrounds.
